Polish man suffers racist attack in Aberdeen
21 April 2008 - SACC
A Polish man was the victim of what police have described as a "racially motivated" attack in Aberdeen.
The 37-year-old was assaulted by a group of men and women on Balnagask Circle near Balnagask Crescent in the Torry area early on Sunday.
The man required hospital treatment for "extensive face and body injuries".
Grampian Police, appealing for witnesses, said it was unprovoked, and that the culprits escaped in a dark taxi on Balnagask Road.
