Stop Sainsbury's profiting from illegal settlements in Palestine
04 July 2014 - SACC
In response to a call for action from Palestinian farming unions in February 2013, a coalition of UK Palestine solidarity and environmental justice organisations and activists is campaigning to pressure Sainsbury’s to stop sourcing fresh produce from companies that operate in illegal Israeli settlements.
The campaign calls on J. Sainsbury plc (Sainsbury’s) to stop sourcing agricultural produce from companies that participate in and are associated with Israel’s occupation of Palestinian land and violations of human rights and international law.
